The Problem

Wisconsin commercial electricity rates are among the highest in the Midwest, and regulators have already approved the next round of increases. We Energies rates are rising 12.4% across 2025 and 2026. WPS rates are rising 11.5% over the same period.

Energy waste in most facilities is out of sight, out of mind. The bill arrives as a lump sum. One number for an entire month. There is no clear way to know which equipment is running too hard, which system is leaking dollars, or when the waste is happening. If you saw a water leak, you'd fix it. Energy waste is harder to see, so it persists. Year after year.

And waste is only half the problem. When the compressor fails on a Friday afternoon, what does that cost? Lost production, spoiled product, emergency service calls. Often more than a year of wasted kilowatt-hours. Most equipment failures announce themselves in the energy data weeks before they happen. If nobody is watching that data, nobody gets the warning.
